I have been wanting a new cardigan but was not finding a pattern that I really liked.  I also was wanting to knit the Flax sweater by Tin Can Knits. So I put the two ideas together and came out with this wonderful cardigan.  The pattern for the sweater is well written and easy to follow. Turning it into a cardigan took some doing, but once I figured out where to put the raglan markers, it was an easy knit.  I divided the front into two parts and added 7 stitches to the beginning of each side to create a button band and give a nice edge to the front edges.

I am now looking forward to cooler weather so I can wear it!
